Selected Answer: D
The needs of the future state solution are discovered through current state diagram. As per BABOK v3 6.1.1, the purpose of Analyze Current State is to understand the reasons why an enterprise needs to change some aspect of how it operates and what would be directly or indirectly affected by the change.

Selected Answer: D
I'm going with D. The needs for the future state solution. While the current state diagram indeed helps identify the strengths and weaknesses of the current system (option A), its primary purpose is to determine what improvements or changes are necessary to achieve the desired future state. Therefore, option D more directly addresses the objective of starting discussions on what the future state may look like by identifying the needs and requirements for the future solution.

Selected Answer: A
A - The key to this is that the stakeholders are overall satisfied with the current system. There's no point in creating the needs for the future state if they don't understand the weaknesses of the current state.
