The MoSCoW method is a widely used prioritization technique in business analysis and project management. It helps stakeholders agree on the importance of requirements by categorizing them into four groups:
M – Must have: Essential requirements that are non-negotiable for the solution's success.
S – Should have: Important but not vital; still high-priority, but can be delivered later if needed.
C – Could have: Desirable but non-essential; lower priority and usually included if time and resources permit.
W – Won’t have (this time): Agreed to not be included in the current delivery cycle, but may be revisited later.
