Usually Antivirus is preventive, but as described here the AV is identified as outdated and corrects that. That makes this specific example correct. B is actually not a control, since the log itself does not constitute a controlling action. That would be a review of the log (detective) C could be interpreted as preventive. D could be interpreted as preventive
