B. Perform a post-implementation review
A post-implementation review (PIR) is a formal assessment of a project's performance. A post-implementation review (PIR) is conducted after a project is completed. The purpose of a PIR is to evaluate whether the project's objectives were met, determine how effectively the project was run, and learn lessons for the future. A PIR is critical because it indirectly validates the test results achieved during the user acceptance testing (UAT).
User acceptance testing (UAT) is the final testing of a software product by the user or client.
B. Perform a post-implementation review
A post-implementation review is specifically designed to evaluate a system after it has been implemented. It ensures that the system meets the desired objectives and that all necessary controls, including automated ones, have been correctly put in place and are functioning as expected.
