D. Threat intelligence
For protecting an enterprise from advanced persistent threats (APTs), threat intelligence is the most helpful option. Threat intelligence provides valuable information about potential threats, including APTs, their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and indicators of compromise (IOCs). By leveraging threat intelligence, organizations can proactively identify and respond to APTs before they cause significant damage. While options A, B, and C (updated security policies, regular antivirus updates, defined security standards) are important components of a comprehensive security strategy, threat intelligence specifically focuses on understanding and mitigating advanced threats like APTs.
