Selected Answer: A
A. Adopting a common risk taxonomy. The most important factor when discussing risk within an organization is adopting a common risk taxonomy. A common risk taxonomy ensures that everyone within the organization uses a consistent and standardized language to describe, assess, and communicate risks. This common understanding of risk terminology and definitions is essential for effective risk management, as it promotes clear communication, shared understanding, and alignment of risk-related discussions and decisions across various departments and levels within the organization.

The answer is A However, KRI is more important for risk monitoring where taxonomy servers for risk identification and analysis by stakeholders in the organization.

A: Adopting a common risk Taxonomy. A risk taxonomy is a comprehensive, common and stable set of risk categories that are used within an organization. By providing a comprehensive set of risk categories, it encourages those involved in risk identification to consider all types of risks that could affect the organization's objectives.

Sorry for the confusion. I meant that only KRI does not mean anything, but the interpretation does. I would go with answer A.

KRIs only don't mean anything, but the inpretation in more important. Therefore adopting a common risk taxonomy will help everything better understand risk.

See you need to understand this is ISACA's way of thinking not how things are in a particular company. When you discuss risk, what triggers the risk? A KRI triggers the risk. So when you discuss the risk, the most important factor is the KRI.
