I am going with D: Monitoring the activities performed in a production database environment is essential for ensuring that any database changes are correctly applied and that the database remains in a stable and secure state. Monitoring can help detect errors, such as data corruption or performance issues, that may occur during database changes and can help ensure that changes are implemented in accordance with established change control procedures. Monitoring does not deter or prevent it usually detects.
