D is correct: https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos/topics/topic-map/switches-interface-aggregated.html By default, no aggregated Ethernet interfaces are created. You must set the number of aggregated Ethernet interfaces on the routing device before you can configure them. Specify that you want to access the aggregated Ethernet configuration on the device. user@host# edit chassis aggregated-devices ethernet Set the number of aggregated Ethernet interfaces. [edit chassis aggregated-devices ethernet] user@host# set device-count number

LACP not a must.. You can disable on the opposite site and work properly without LACP
