I test and in my case, correct answer is E, becaus whe you type "mkdir \dir", the system will create the "dir" directory, not "\dir". So you only have to type "rmdir ~/rmdir".

I tested on ubuntu - C and D worked . option A is not working -- gave error ' No such file or directory found'
