Indeed. When you look in System, Administration, System Settings, General Tab, the heading text says "Set the currency precision that is used for pricing throughout the system". Sounds like what is being asked. Modifying the base currency could affect more than just pricing. C and D I don't think are even real things (that I'm aware of).
