They ask to to compare the total requests to the failed requests during the past six hours. It seems like the Metrics for Application Gateway can show you that exactly: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/application-gateway/application-gateway-metrics#application-gateway-metrics

"Performance log: You can use this log to view how Application Gateway instances are performing. This log captures performance information for each instance, including total requests served, throughput in bytes, total requests served, failed request count, and healthy and unhealthy back-end instance count. A performance log is collected every 60 seconds. The Performance log is available only for the v1 SKU. For the v2 SKU, use Metrics for performance data."

The answer is "D" Enable logging through the Azure portal In the Azure portal, find your resource and select Diagnostic settings. For Application Gateway, three logs are available: 1-Access log 2-Performance log 2-Firewall log Under Performance log you will see The performance log is generated only if you have enabled it on each Application Gateway instance, as detailed in the preceding steps. 1-requestCount-->Number of requests served. 2-failedRequestCount-->Number of failed requests. The Answer is correct. Failed Requests Number of requests that Application Gateway has served with 5xx server error codes. This includes the 5xx codes that are generated from the Application Gateway as well as the 5xx codes that are generated from the backend. The request count can be further filtered to show count per each/specific backend pool-http setting combination. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/application-gateway/application-gateway-metrics

Correct Answer is B only Explanation/Reference: Application Gateway currently has seven metrics to view performance counters. Metrics are a feature for certain Azure resources where you can view performance counters in the portal. For Application Gateway, the following metrics are available: Total Requests Failed Requests Current Connections Healthy Host Count Response Status Throughput Unhealthy Host count You can filter on a per backend pool basis to show healthy/unhealthy hosts in a specific backend pool. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/application-gateway/application-gateway-metrics
