4 forecasts are needed based on the requirement of monthly forecast for the next 3 years (36 months) and the fiscal year is set to begin I Jan. 1st forecast is for FY2024, starts in Aug and has 5 periods (Aug to Dec). 2nd forecast is for FY2025, starts in Jan and has 12 periods (Jan to Dec). 3rd forecast is for FY2026, Starts in Jan and has 12periods (Jan to Dec). 4th forecast is for FY2027, starts in Jan and has 7 periods (Jan to Jul). Starting period for the forecast is next year because required monthly forecast starts in August next year. 36 periods are needed because the sales manager needs a monthly forecast for the next 3 years. i.e., 12 x 3 = 36.

I think for the first the answer is 3 due to the answer for the last. For the year I would say current as the year starts in January so it would be the current year. With regards to the last the maximum number of periods I can set is 12 when using monthly for the period.
