Correct answer is port 445, as this is port for SMB protocol to share files Incorrect: Port 80: HTTP, this is for web Port 443: HTTPS, for web too Port 3389: Remote desktop protocol (RDP)

Hi, It is never , never... I have tested this.. you need to select the subnet which you want to give access to.. While adding network, It will ask three values (subscribtion,virtualnetworks and which subnet you want to give access to. so final point is subnet and it will enable the end point.) in our question it is enabled for /24 part and the address given range will not come in that.. so it is never , never

If port 445 is available, your Azure file share will be persistently mounted. Your organization or internet service provider (ISP) may block port 445, however you may use Azure Point-to-Site (P2S) VPN, Azure Site-to-Site (S2S) VPN, or ExpressRoute to tunnel SMB traffic to your Azure file share over a different port. In order for file share to work we have to make sure that the port 445 is open. Mostly in the USA, Canada and other countries port 445 is blocked by ISP.
