Yes, No.
Yes: Power BI allows users to create visualizations and reports by connecting to various data sources.
No: While Power Platform can integrate with Microsoft SQL Server and other data sources, it doesn't necessarily use SQL Server databases to store data. The data storage in Power Platform is often associated with the Dataverse, a cloud-based data platform. Power Platform provides flexibility in terms of data storage options, and it's not limited to SQL Server databases.
Ok, so Dataverse and SharePoint lists/libraries are BOTH built on SQL in the backend. However, this is abstracted from us Power Platform users by having a SQL connector, a Dataverse connector, and a SharePoint connector. Therefore it's reasonable to assume the exam will expect Dataverse and the database, not Microsoft SQL Server.

Taken from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/security/data-storage
"All data persisted by Power Platform is encrypted by default using Microsoft-managed keys. Customer data stored in Azure SQL Database is fully encrypted using Azure SQL's Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) technology. Customer data stored in Azure Blob storage is encrypted using Azure Storage Encryption."
Dataverse allows data to be integrated from multiple sources into a single store, which can then be used in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents along with data that's already available from the Dynamics 365 applications.
Dataverse lets you securely store and manage data that's used by business applications.
