according to this link it is correct: "Assign the colleagues with access role to a security group and share the app" but then 1st box looks like 1st option --> "After you’ve completed setting the permissions to all your tables, you’re now ready to share the app with an existing security group"

I think it should be: 1) Assign a permission set for each table in the app [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/teams/set-perms-and-share#assign-table-permissions] 2) Share with a security group (Assuming the up has already been published) [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/teams/set-perms-and-share#assign-the-colleagues-with-access-role-to-a-security-group-and-share-the-app]

is it 'personal power app' in ms teams environment or 'power app' published to teams channel? i would say personal power app. hence share with group, it seems that Teams dataverse works with roles as well, set the roles. (not sure i once thought it was a simplified security with sharing).

The two comments at the bottom of this state to publish the app. The question is asking to configure the access so users can view the app and data. With out adding to a security group, they won't be able to view the published data

The question states that "you need to configues the access". So the publishing part is probably done.... my vote goes to Shate with a security group see: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/teams/dataverse-for-teams-table-permissions
