DRAG DROP
-

You create a Git repository named Repo1 in Azure Repos.

You need to configure Repo1 to meet the following requirements:

• Work items must be linked to a pull request.
• Pull requests must have a minimum of two reviewers.
• Pull requests must complete a code review by using a third-party tool.

The solution must minimize administrative effort.

Which type of policy should you use for each requirement? To answer, drag the appropriate policy types to the correct requirements. Each type policy may be used once, more than once, or not at all. You may need to drag the split bar between panes or scroll to view content.

NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

Yes - 'Require other services to post successful status to complete PR' is located under Status Checks (Add Status Policy) - hence Status for item 2.

as always i asked chat gpt and he repond like this after i suggest that read the articles posted by @kk2024 and he reply like this : You are correct that the policies I mentioned (Check-in Policy, Branch Policy, and Status Policy) all fall under branch policies in Azure Repos. -Work items must be linked to a pull request: This uses a Branch Policy (Work item linking check). -Pull requests must have a minimum of two reviewers: A Branch Policy that requires at least two reviewers. -Pull requests must complete a code review by using a third-party tool: A Status Policy configured within the branch policy to integrate external services like a third-party code review tool. so the correct anwser according to chatgp is -Work items must be linked to a pull request: Check-in Policy -Pull requests must have a minimum of two reviewers: Branch Policy -Pull requests must complete a code review by using a third-party tool: Status Policy

Branch, Status, Branch Tow branch options are quite obvious. For external code review we can use services like SonarCloud to do code analysis. This can be set up in Status Policy

Already performed this in Lab: 100% sure All three is Branch Policies only You can go to branches option in Repo and then click on master branch option and then go to branch policies all the asked options will be reflecting there.

I don't believe that the concept of Policy Type is actually defined in ADO Repos. All required policies are found in Branch: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/repos/git/branch-policies?view=azure-devops&tabs=browser However, if this is another tricky exam question, you can find words like status and check and build there.

Work items must be linked to a pull request: Use a Branch policy. In Azure Repos, you can enforce linking work items to pull requests by configuring a branch policy. Pull requests must complete a code review by a third-party tool: Use a Status policy. Status checks are used to enforce external services (like third-party tools) to report their findings or results back to Azure Repos before a pull request can be completed. Pull requests must have a minimum of two reviewers: Use a Branch policy. In Azure Repos, you can enforce a minimum number of reviewers for pull requests by setting a branch policy. So, the answers are: Branch Status Branch
