"BEST" answer questions are always. What means "BEST", in which way "BEST"? SSIS is a possible answer, but the "BEST" answer, for whatever reason, is B. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/data-tier-applications/data-tier-applications?view=sql-server-ver15

What is this question about? Deploying changes from Dev DB to the Production one. Does Prod DB need the Dev's data? of course no... So there is a requirement to synch changes from Dev to Prod on schema level.. this is a .dacpac file(which is called a package by Microsoft) generated by the data-tier application Have a read please - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/data-tier-applications/deploy-a-data-tier-application?view=sql-server-ver15
