Correct. Provide a target certificate location for importing a client authentication key usage certificate file with the .pfc extension. Location: Current user/Personal The client authentication certificate should be imported into the "Personal" store of the user who is trying to establish the P2S VPN connection. It's important that the certificate is in the Current User's Personal store because the VPN software needs to access it, and it does this in the context of the user that's currently logged in. Provide the target certificate location for importing a certificate signing certificate key usage file with the .cer extension Location: Local Computer/Trusted Root Certification Authorities The certificate signing certificate (also known as a root certificate) should be installed into the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" store on the local computer. This allows the system to trust certificates that were signed by this certificate. This is particularly important for VPN connections, where the trust relationship between the client and the server is crucial.
