As explain by NazerRazer and the guy below, disabling the FW is not a good idea and not a requirement for using Azure Migrate

Selected Answer: B
To ensure successful migration with Azure Migrate, you should: Ensure that the necessary ports are open in the firewall for communication with Azure services. Verify that NIC teaming is properly configured to maintain network connectivity during the migration process. Ensure that Server1 meets the other prerequisites and recommendations provided by Azure Migrate documentation. So, the correct answer is: B. No

No, disabling Windows Defender Firewall on Server1 alone does not fully meet the goal of ensuring that you can use Azure Migrate to migrate Server1. Azure Migrate requires several prerequisites to be met for successful migration, including: Mobility service installed: This requirement has already been met according to the provided information. Network connectivity: NIC teaming is enabled on Server1, but this alone does not guarantee proper network connectivity for Azure Migrate. Ensure that network connectivity is properly configured to allow communication between Server1 and Azure services. Firewall and security settings: While disabling Windows Defender Firewall may help resolve certain connectivity issues, it's not the only consideration. Azure Migrate requires specific ports to be open for communication. Disabling the firewall entirely may not be the best practice from a security standpoint.

Option B. No Disabling Windows Defender Firewall on Server1 is not a necessary step for Azure Migrate to function and does not address the requirements for migrating a server using Azure Migrate. The Azure Migrate appliance needs to communicate with Server1, but rather than disabling the firewall entirely, the appropriate ports should be allowed through the firewall. Disabling the firewall would unnecessarily expose Server1 to potential security risks. The Azure Migrate service requires certain ports and protocols to be open but does not require the firewall to be completely turned off.

I say the issue is the Mobility service being install. "It is unsupported to install the Azure Migrate Appliance on a server that has the replication appliance or mobility service agent installed. Ensure that the appliance server has not been previously used to set up the replication appliance or has the mobility service agent installed on the server." https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/migrate/tutorial-discover-physical
