See documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/inventory/reserve-inventory-quantities 1. Reserve items automatically for sales = Item Model Group. See field "item sales reservation. 2. Reserve items automatically for transfers = Inv & WH MGMT parameters. See field "reserve items automatically" on the transfer tab. 3. Reserve items when work is scheduled = production parameters. See field "Reservation." Note in point (3), they are using the term work to meet scheduled production routes, not warehouse work. The wording is a little confusing.
