HOTSPOT -

A company implementing Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management has multiple warehouses, some of which are Warehouse Management-enabled.

The company must hold inventory for the following purposes:

• Automatic hold on inbound purchase order inventory.
• Damaged on-hand inventory that can be transferred from a mobile device, leaving the undamaged inventory available.

You need to determine the feature that applies to each company requirement.

Which features should you use? To answer, select the appropriate options in the answer area.

1 (c) Inventory blocking - Inventory blocking prevents certain inventory from being used in specific transactions (e.g., sales orders) while keeping it available for other operations. 2 (a) Quality order - Quality orders are used for inspection and quarantine when inventory is received from purchase orders. This ensures inventory is automatically held until quality checks are completed. 3 (a) Inventory status - Inventory status allows classification of inventory as damaged, available, or blocked and enables movement of inventory between statuses using the warehouse mobile app. However, the latest documentation contradicts the answers, the functionality might be changed lately.

Copilot Das Bild wird analysiert: Gesichter sind möglicherweise verschwommen, um die Privatsphäre zu schützen. Antworten für Sie werden generiert… Gesendet von Copilot: To meet the company’s inventory management requirements in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, you should use the following features: On-hand inventory available for all transactions except for sales orders: Use Inventory blocking. This feature allows you to block inventory from being used in specific transactions, such as sales orders, while keeping it available for other transactions. Automatic hold on inbound purchase order inventory: Use Quality order. This feature ensures that inbound inventory is automatically held for quality inspection before it can be used or sold. Transfer of damaged on-hand inventory from a mobile device: Use Inventory status. This feature allows you to manage and transfer inventory based on its status, such as damaged or undamaged, directly from a mobile device.

Tbh, none of these answers make much sense to me. 1. "Ordered reserved" means, I think- low confidence on this- that you have incoming inventory via PO / transfer order etc., that is already reserved for an outbound issuance. I must be misunderstanding the term because that makes no sense in context of the question. 2. Auto hold: the best answer in my mind is a quality order that is automated via the quality association. Idk how "inventory blocking" is otherwise automated. 3. I'm not experienced with advanced WHM; I know that inventory status can be changed from the mobile app, though I don't know what that does to physically transfer the inventory.
