Selected Answer: A
The "Connect from anywhere" setting allows you to specify the Remote Desktop Gateway server for the connection. You need to provide the following details under this setting: 1.The RD Gateway server's address. 2. Specify whether to use the RD Gateway credentials for the remote server or provide separate credentials. This configuration ensures that your Remote Desktop connection routes through the RD Gateway, enabling secure access to the internal server (Server1) from external networks.

A. Connect from anywhere. mr_Eliot " Run MSTSC.exe and check for your self." Did you check it yourself?! Open mstsc.exe and go to tab "ADVANCED" and see below "CONNECT FROM ANYWHERE: Configure settings to connect through Remote Desktop GATEWAY when I am working remotely"!!!!!!!!!!!

Connect from anywhere: This setting is related to enabling RD Gateway but is not where you configure the actual connection settings for using the gateway. Connection settings: This is where you configure the RD Gateway settings. You need to enter the RD Gateway server address and possibly other details required for connecting through the gateway.

A if you're configuring the Remote Desktop Connection application (MSTSC.exe) on your local machine to connect through a Remote Desktop Gateway (RD Gateway), you typically need to ensure that the "Connect from anywhere" setting is enabled.

Correction answer is C If the question is about configuring the Remote Desktop Connection application (MSTSC.exe), then "Connection settings" (option C) would be more appropriate. If the question is about ensuring the connection goes through the RD Gateway, then "Connect from anywhere" (option A) is the correct choice.

This slight semantics. There is a "connection settings" section on the General tab that allows you to Save, Save As, or Open an RDP file, BUT, on the Advanced tab, there is a "connect from anywhere" section that you must click Settings to get into to then finally see your generically named "Connection Settings." That is a bridge to far for me. I am going to choose to go to the section that you need to actually CLICK on to get to that second page. I vote A.

Silly question but I'd have to say Connect From Anywhere wins it for me. Within the Connect From Anywhere there are two options, namely, Connection Settings and Logon Settings. If you selected Connection Settings, you'd be ignoring Logon Settings. I think together they both make up the requirement in the question above.

Selected Answer: C
Option A, "Connect from anywhere," is a general setting that allows connections from any network. However, when you are specifically dealing with connecting through a Remote Desktop Gateway (RD Gateway), you typically need to configure the RD Gateway server settings. So, for a Remote Desktop connection to go through an RD Gateway, you usually configure the "Connection settings" (Option C), not "Connect from anywhere" (Option A).
