Correct. Should be Hardware Identifier and not hash.

"The hardware identity of devices, known as hardware hashes." We are calling it Hardware hashes or Hardware IDs. It's the same ;) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/autopilot/add-devices

Mainly correct, the main identifier needed by Intune is the Hardware ID for the device
