HOTSPOT -
Your network contains an Active Directory domain named contoso.com. The domain contains two member servers named Server1 and Server2. All servers run
Windows Server 2012 R2.
Server1 and Server2 have the Network Load Balancing (NLB) feature installed. The servers are configured as nodes in an NLB cluster named Cluster1. Both servers connect to the same switch.
Cluster1 hosts a secure web Application named WebApp1. WebApp1 saves user state information in a central database.
You need to ensure that the connections to WebApp1 are distributed evenly between the nodes. The solution must minimize port flooding.
What should you configure? To answer, configure the appropriate affinity and the appropriate mode for Cluster1 in the answer area.
Hot Area:

Suggested Answer:
The Affinity parameter is applicable only for the Multiple hosts filtering mode.
/ The Single option specifies that NLB should direct multiple requests from the same client IP address to the same cluster host.

Given answers are correct. Multicast to prevent / minimize flooding, and "Cluster1 hosts a secure web Application named WebApp1. WebApp1 saves user state information in a central database." - affinity needs to be Single in order to save session state info for the app.

For unicast"If the cluster is connected to a switch, incoming packets are sent to all the ports on the switch, which can cause switch flooding" So answer is Multicast :"By using the multicast method with Internet Group Membership Protocol (IGMP), you can limit switch flooding" http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc782694(v=ws.10).aspx Answer : Client/Multicast

Answer is correct, unicast fulfills the "minimize flooding" requirement. Single is the affinity that is select after Multiple is selected for filtering mode. If anything else is select than Multiple, you do not get to select an affinity. Also, the other affinity modes are: Network and None. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2008-R2-and-2008/cc771709(v=ws.11)?redirectedfrom=MSDN#network-load-balancing-properties

@sageinblue, do you mean client as the correct answer for the affinity setting? The answer options are single, client, and class c.

Wrong? Answer should be multiple and unicast. "Single" redirects all traffic to a single node, failing the requirement "connections to WebApp1 are distributed evenly between the nodes." Multicast will send traffic to all the switch ports, failing the requirement "the solution must minimize port flooding."
