Since you're looking to detect technical issues that prevent sales, you're likely monitoring things like: Failed requests Exceptions Zero or unusually low transaction volume (e.g., no successful purchases) Backend service errors These issues are best captured by logs (e.g., traces, exceptions, custom events) in Application Insights.

Selected Answer: D
The alert you should use to detect technical issues is: D. Log alert using dynamic thresholds Explanation: Log alert using dynamic thresholds: This option allows you to create alerts based on log queries with dynamic thresholds. It is ideal for detecting technical problems because it automatically adapts to normal system patterns, generating alerts only when metrics exceed expected values. This is especially useful for applications that have variations in traffic or behavior. Why not the other options: A. Metric alert using multiple time series: Metrics are limited to predefined values and don't automatically adjust to dynamic changes in system patterns. B. Metric alert using dynamic thresholds: While metrics with dynamic thresholds are useful, they're designed to monitor basic metrics like CPU or HTTP traffic. However, technical issues related to sales require further analysis

I think C is the right answer!! , Log alert using multiple time series (Option C) could provide more detailed insights and flexibility for detecting and diagnosing technical issues.

Log vs. Metric: Log (capture detailed diagnostic information) Multiple Time Series vs Dynamic Thresholds: Dynamic Thresholds (Don't need to monitor several metrics over time but need to adjust alert thresholds based on historical data patterns)

I think that requirements here is quote opposite that "Considerations when using dynamic thresholds" in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/alerts/alerts-dynamic-thresholds - which basically describe long time stable series
