If TLS certificate has issues, it would show failed in TLS connectivity status. I am sorry, you are incorrect! A vanity domain or not, if there exists a mismatch in the domain name on the cert and the PBX you will have this issue.

Seems that both a missing vanity domain and an issue with the TLS certificate can cause SIP OPTIONS requests to fail without a response...
