I agree, to consolidate a logic, the best solution is to use the child flow. The child flow expects an instant flow or a Power Apps trigger as its trigger.

Selected Answer: A
The goal is to implement a subprocess that’s maintainable (centralized updates) and easy to navigate (simple parent flows). The analysis suggests: Option A: Saving a copy of the subprocess aligns with creating a child flow, which can be called via “Run a Child Flow,” ensuring centralized maintenance and clean parent flows. The “add additional actions” phrasing likely means in the parent flows, making it the best fit. Option B: An automated trigger doesn’t support easy reuse across flows without complex invocation, reducing maintainability and navigation. Option C: Copying actions is the least maintainable, requiring updates in every flow, and makes flows harder to navigate, making it unsuitable. Option D: An instant trigger is manual-focused, not ideal for automated reuse, and complicates invocation, reducing suitability.

Selected Answer: B
Automated triggers in Power Automate allow you to call or initiate a subprocess from other flows automatically when certain conditions are met. This way, you can manage the subprocess separately and easily reuse it in multiple flows, improving maintainability.

Selected Answer: B
B. Initiate the subprocess with an automated trigger: This is a good approach for creating a child flow. By setting up an automated trigger, you can call the subprocess from multiple parent flows. The subprocess is reusable and can be maintained in one place. This is a recommended way to implement subprocesses in Power Automate.

It is instant - the documentation for the release shows the triggers for the child flow, which are all instant flow triggers - https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-gb/blog/october-updates-for-microsoft-flow/
