Your company uses Microsoft Teams.

You are planning the governance strategy for Microsoft Teams. All tasks must be performed by a user who will be assigned the Global admin role and will not be a team owner.

You need to identify which tools to use for the following tasks:

• Archive a team.
• Restore a deleted team.
• Permanently delete a team.

Which tool should you identify for each task? To answer, drag the appropriate tools to the correct tasks. Each tool may be used once, more than once, or not at all. You may need to drag the split bar between panes or scroll to view content.

NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

We can restore deleted teams in TAC if you go to Teams -> Manage teams -> click on 'Actions' in the upper-right corner -> View deleted teams -> tick at the team you want to restore -> Restore. I have confirmed this in my test tenant.

To accomplish each compliance task in Microsoft Teams, you would use the following tools: Restore a deleted team: Microsoft Teams admin center > Teams > Action > View Deleted Teams > select the desired team, and then choose the "Restore" option. OR Microsoft Entra ID Portal > Groups > Deleted Groups > Restore Group (A team is attached to a group and when we delete a team its 365group will also gets deleted. So, if we restore the group the team will also be restored.) Archive a team: Microsoft Teams admin center > Teams > select the desired team, and then choose the "Archive" option. Permanently delete a team: Microsoft Entra ID Portal > Groups > Deleted Groups > select the desired Group, and then choose the "Delete Permanently" option. (Teams admin portal don't have any option to delete a group[/team permanently, it just soft delete the group/team.)

As an admin, you may need to view or update the teams in your organization, or you might need to perform remediation actions such as assigning owners for ownerless teams. You can manage teams through both the Teams PowerShell module and the Teams admin center. You can access the admin center at https://admin.teams.microsoft.com. For full administration capabilities using these two toolsets, you should make sure that you're assigned one of the following roles: Global administrator Teams administrator https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/manage-teams-in-modern-portal
