Selected Answer: B
Given answer is correct. Explanation below. "If you create a private endpoint for the Data Lake Storage Gen2 storage resource, then you should also create one for the Blob Storage resource. That's because operations that target the Data Lake Storage Gen2 endpoint might be redirected to the Blob endpoint. Similarly, if you add a private endpoint for Blob Storage only, and not for Data Lake Storage Gen2, some operations (such as Manage ACL, Create Directory, Delete Directory, etc.) will fail since the Gen2 APIs require a DFS private endpoint. By creating a private endpoint for both resources, you ensure that all operations can complete successfully." https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/common/storage-private-endpoints

Selected Answer: B
To support the answer. Reason for Two Private Endpoints Data Lake Storage (DFS) Endpoint: This endpoint is required for operations targeting Azure Data Lake Gen2 features, such as managing directories and access control lists (ACLs). Blob Storage Endpoint: Some operations targeting the Data Lake Storage resource may be redirected to the Blob Storage endpoint. Without a private endpoint for Blob Storage, certain operations (e.g., directory management) may fail. Minimum number of private endpoints required: 2 One for the DFS sub-resource. One for the Blob sub-resource. Answer = B

Selected Answer: A
A. 1 Explanation: Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) is built on Azure Blob Storage, and when configuring private endpoints for secure access, you only need one private endpoint per storage service type (Blob or DFS). Since App1 needs access to Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2) to perform Read, List, Create Directory, and Delete Directory operations, it will use the Azure Data Lake Storage hierarchical namespace (HNS), which operates over the Azure Data Lake Storage (DFS) endpoint The minimum requirement for private access to an ADLS Gen2 storage account is one private endpoint for the DFS endpoint (<storage_account>.dfs.core.windows.net). This endpoint allows access to both Blob Storage and Data Lake Storage Gen2 APIs.
