Each team in Microsoft Teams has a corresponding SharePoint site, and each channel within a team has its own folder within that site’s "Documents" library. When files are shared in a channel, they’re stored in the relevant folder within the SharePoint site connected to that team. OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online (Files): First-stage Recycle Bin: Deleted files go here first and stay for 93 days by default. Second-stage Recycle Bin: After being removed from the first-stage Recycle Bin, files are moved here and remain until the end of the 93-day retention period. Once this period expires, files are permanently deleted and unrecoverable.
