You have a database in an Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL account that is configured for multi-region writes.

You need to use the Azure Cosmos DB SDK to implement the conflict resolution policy for a container. The solution must ensure that any conflicts are sent to the conflicts feed.

Selected Answer: A
This solution meets the goal. Setting ConflictResolutionMode to Custom and using a custom stored procedure ensures that conflicts are sent to the conflicts feed. The use of the isTombstone parameter in the stored procedure is appropriate for resolving conflicts by distinguishing between active and deleted (tombstoned) items. Thus, this approach aligns with the requirement.

Selected Answer: B
No is the correct answer. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cosmos-db/conflict-resolution-policies If you configure your container with the custom resolution option, and you fail to register a merge procedure on the container or the merge procedure throws an exception at runtime, the conflicts are written to the conflicts feed. Your application then needs to manually resolve the conflicts in the conflicts feed.
