I believe the answer is correct. We are having five initial columns (we are including Level here, which will be constructed from a substring) and we add Duration as well.

Answer is correct. - 5 columns are projected, and 1 is extended. So 6 columns. - Subtract 2 datetimes gives a timespan : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/kusto/query/datetime-timespan-arithmetic?view=microsoft-fabric. "One can subtract (but not add) two datetime values to get a timespan value expressing their difference."

The query you provided will return five columns in its output. Here’s a summary of those columns: StartTime: The starting time of the storm event. EndTime: The ending time of the storm event. EpisodeId: A unique identifier for the storm event. State: The state in which the storm event occurred. Level: A substring of the storm summary, capturing the first 100 characters. Thus, the output will consist of these five distinct columns.

For me is: Box one : Five , you already have four columns ( StartTime, EndTime, EpisodeId, State ) and extend them with Duration in line 4. Box 2 : timespan

What about column Level? So I believe box one is six.
