To support the answer. Microsoft Defender for Storage primarily focuses on protecting Azure storage services. However, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, which includes Defender for Storage, has expanded its capabilities to support multi-cloud environments including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
