This is a duplicate of Q52. That only requires three steps and that makes the selection a lot easier. 1. Stop-VM 2. Update-VMVersion 3. CheckPoint-VM

Set-VM - not needed. it automatically sets checkpoints to production. use this setting to change to standard

I think you should first run update-vmversion to make production checkpoints available, and afterwards set-vm to set the production checkpoint type.
