I agree with Deetss https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/production-control/instruction-guides-in-production-overview also i think it is more likely the "Associate a Guide to a bill of material" also the wording "associate" is used in the headers of the MS Learn plattform..

Wrong, should be: 1. Enable production instruction in License config 2. Configure Guides integration 3. Set the size of the rendered QR code (MS Learn link shows this as part of step #2) 4. Associate a Guide to a bill of material. I don't think that it makes sense to assign the guide to a resource as the question does not seem to state one specific piece of equipment/machinery in use.
