DRAG DROP
-

Your network contains an Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) domain named Domain1.

You have an Azure subscription named Sub1. Sub1 contains a storage account named storage1 that has a file share named share1. Sub1 has an Azure Virtual Desktop deployment that contains a host pool named Pool1. Pool1 contains session hosts that are joined to Domain1.

You plan to use share1 to store FSLogix user profiles.

You need to enable support for FSLogix.

What should you do for storage1 and share1? To answer, drag the appropriate configurations to the correct resources. Each configuration may be used once, more than once, or not at all. You may need to drag the split bar between panes or scroll to view content.

NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

1.Join to Domain. 2. Assign RBAC role to users. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fslogix/how-to-configure-profile-container-azure-files-active-directory?tabs=adds#join-your-storage-account-to-active-directory

No, it's: 1. Join to Domain1 (storage1 - storage account level). 2. Grant NTFS permissions (share1 - share level) "Assign RBAC role to users" applies to the storage account level, not the share level.

Can you back it up as the RBAC is a prerequisite to store the Profiles into you fileshare? As Bonesurfer mentioned in the learn article. First you join SA to the domain and then you need to make sure your users or groups hvae SMB contributor as stated in the knowledge base - "Users needing to store profiles in your file share need permission to access it. To do this, you need to assign each user the Storage File Data SMB Share Contributor role" After that you can play with NTFS. So for me: 1. Join to Domain1. 2. Assign RBAC role to users.

Technically speaking, the RBAC assignments can be at the share or Storage account level. The Storage File Data SMB Share Contributor can be assigned at the storage account, and NTFS permissions will handle which users can access via windows credentials.

It will work either way...which is why this question is kind of stupid.
