It is true I agree with 'Hoglet' , even if you can successfully insert the given two lines, if you want to achieve "All or none" insert....you must think Transactions as in BEGIN TRAN, and COMMIT or ROLLBACK. I think B is the right answer.

the question is 'ensure that both records are inserted or neither record is inserted.' Tested on MSSM, both are inserted, so the answer is A

And if the transaction log fills up and the 2nd insert won't work? The question is looking for an understanding of TRANSACTIONS

Both insert statements are executed seperately, so failure of one won't impact another. The answer is B.No.

because if row 1 is true and row 2 false , row 1 ultil inserted in database
