The VSV file is also part of the “saved state” architecture used in Hyper-V. The VSV file contains information about the virtual machine’s hardware. All of this information is encapsulated into a file that is quite small (only a few megabytes). https://www.vembu.com/blog/hyper-v-file-extensions/

Answers should be .VHD and .VMCX files, with ws 2016 and win 10, othervise it's .VHD and .VMC Avoid .VSV answer

D & B Hyper-V uses .VHD for the "storage" and .VMC for the config files specific to that "machine" .VSV files are predominantly associated with MS Virtual PC but are supported by Hyper-V - however not essential like the .VHD & .VMC

Hyper-V uses .vmc to store Configs. Answer should be .vmc and .vhd

Based on my research, .vsv files are associated with MS Virtual PC I believe and not Hyper-V. Can anybody confirm?? So I believe the answer is only B.
