for me there is two point in question : Need to reduce space --> Delete some audit log (you can base your filter older than 6months) reduce rate --> Disable audit for unnecessary entity. This will reduce rate but won't reduce current space

the answer says delete current audit log, ...it is not advisable to delete current audit logs..so tturn off is the best answer
