DRAG DROP -
You have an Azure subscription that contains an Azure file share.

You plan to set up Azure File Sync between Server1 and the Azure file share.
You need to prepare the subscription for the planned Azure File Sync.
Which two actions should you perform in the Azure subscription? To answer, drag the appropriate actions to the correct targets. Each action may be used once, more than once, or not at all. You may need to drag the split bar between panes or scroll to view content.
NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

Suggested Answer:
Step 1: Create a Storage Sync Service
The deployment of Azure File Sync starts with placing a Storage Sync Service resource into a resource group of your selected subscription.
Step 2: Install the Azure File Sync agent
The Azure File Sync agent is a downloadable package that enables Windows Server to be synced with an Azure file share.
When the Azure File Sync agent installation is finished, the Server Registration UI automatically opens. You must have a Storage Sync Service before registering.
(Step 3: Run Server Registration
Registering your Windows Server with a Storage Sync Service establishes a trust relationship between your server (or cluster) and the Storage Sync Service. A server can only be registered to one Storage Sync Service and can sync with other servers and Azure file shares associated with the same Storage Sync
Service. )

First Action: Create a Storage Sync Service Second Action: Create a sync group These are the only actions you perform in the Azure Subscription. Install Azure File Sync Agent and Server Registration are performed from the server endpoints, which in this case is the on-premise server named Server1.

1. Deploy a Storage Sync Service. 2. Create a sync group. 3. Install Azure File Sync agent on the server with the full data set. 4. Register that server and create a server endpoint on the share.

Yes and no. You install the agent second and register the server and then create a sync group, but you don't install the agent in the Azure portal, which is what the question is asking you.

Wondering why ET provide blatant 'wrong' answers, for many of the questions. Probably done to ensure user discussion is kept on, which influencing others to buy their subscription. Thus I am still fully NOT bought-in the messages that these questions come in the actual exam.

What a stupid question. For those confused: "Which two actions should you perform in the Azure subscription?" You don't install the Azure File Sync Agent in Azure. So, the next step is to install the agent, but the next step you do in AZURE is create a sync group. Purposely trying to trip you up on a test already hard enough.

It's not a reasonable question! All the four steps appear here, but only select two as answer. I do think that if the order is correct, then choose any two from left bar.

It's asking you which you do next in the Azure portal. Second would be to install the agent, but you don't do that in Azure so the next option is sync group.

IMHO. The question states what would you do in the Azure Subscription meaning for the whole process to be served by Azure so the given answer is correct based on the steps outlined in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/files/storage-sync-files-deployment-guide?tabs=azure-portal%2Cproactive-portal. But if you want to nitpick the question about not installing the Azure Sync Agent as second step, the question did not state "Which two actions should you perform in the Azure Portal? emphasis on Portal. So the wording is tricky.

Answer is incorrect - as it has already asked action in Azure subscription not on "On-Premise" So the First Action - Create a storage sync service Second Action - Create Sync Group

Answer is correct by logic that creation of group will be 3rd step. So two steps given in answer are correct. The agent will be pushed from azure to onprem server pls note.

Which two actions should you perform "in the Azure subscription" This should be 1) Storage Sync Server and then 2) Create Sync Group in my opinion.

"Which two actions should you perform in the Azure subscription?" I don't think you can install the File agent in the subscription :-)
