E. File2.bat and File3.com only - is correct. Lab it - Defender doesn't detect .bat files as scripts.

Confirmed in my lab as well. Batch files seem to be not seen as scripts.

Given answer E is correct. Though most people consider .BAT files to be scripts; until it is actually executed it is still just a text file and will be scanned in this scenario (even with DisableScriptScanning = True). In this case, it's just another file.

Answer is F. DisableScriptScanning is global, and an `Antivirus scanning option` that has nothing to do with the exclusion path.

Actually, the given answer is correct because the exclusion path is pointing to th folder1 and the .exe is in the folder1.

when you are scanning for malware, virus... you need to scan the executable file and scripts file, there is no reason to scan the .jpeg, doc, pdf file...therefore logically, the given answer is incorrect

The given answer is not correct, all the files need to be scan since all these file extension are capable to be execute and install and program/script or run an script

Shouldn't this be F ? File 1 is excluded due to the file type + location and file2 is excluded because scripts (like .bat) are not scanned.

I see now that the last three lines actually further specifiy the DisableScriptScanning, given answer is correct
