Why not create Azure Mgrate project. Now ASR is just a backup/DR tool not recommended for Migration. Might be ques is pretty old.

You are right, for the first box we need to select "Create Azure Migrate Project" because starting a migration discovery will automatically create a Recovery Service Vault

We use migrate now - ASR is not the approach Create Azure Migrate Project Create a Collector VM
