You need to recommend a solution to generate a monthly report of all the new Azure Resource Manager resource deployments in your subscription. What should you include in the recommendation?
Suggested Answer:B🗳️
The Azure Activity Log provides insight into subscription-level events that have occurred in Azure. This includes a range of data, from Azure Resource Manager operational data to updates on Service Health events. Activity logs are kept for 90 days. You can query for any range of dates, as long as the starting date isn't more than 90 days in the past. References: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/resource-group-audit
Got this question in exam today. There was no 'Azure activity log' option in the question, instead it says 'Azure Log analytics'. Rest of the options are same.
Hmm.. I wonder what be the right answer then on this question. Any clue? Azure Activity Log seems to be the correct answer, but if the answer was not present..
It can be "A. the Change Tracking management solution" .
I fond another explanation:
Azure Automation now supports update management, inventory, and change tracking. Update management delivers visibility of update compliance across Azure, on-premises, and other clouds for both Windows and Linux. Create scheduled deployments to orchestrate the installation of updates within a defined maintenance window. Exclude specific updates and get detailed troubleshooting logs to identify any issues during the deployment.
if the answer has changed from azure activity log to azure log analytics, it is also correct because you can set diagnostic settings for the subscription and send it to log analytics. And then query log analytics for the monthly report.
