This question comes in 4 different types: Solution: From the Subscriptions blade, you select the subscription, and then click Programmatic deployment. Does this meet the goal? No. Solution: From the Subscriptions blade, you select the subscription, and then click Resource providers. Does this meet the goal? No Solution: From the RG1 blade, you click Automation script. Does this meet the goal? No Solution: From the RG1 blade, you click Deployments. Does this meet the goal? Yes

A: Yes - is correct. Not only do you have your date and time but you also have duration, status and related events under 'Deployments'

Deployments gives "last Modified time" not the created time. Activity logs gives the Creation time info.

100% correct, checked in my live work enviroment. click on a resource group, then deployments. You will then see the deployment name, whether it succeeded or failed last modified date and time, duration and related event

You can also see it from the "deployments" tab in a RG. Activity Log is a bit more tedious but you're right, you can still see it from there as well.
