Correct answer is YES, YES, NO When Computer1 accesses Share1, SMB encryption will be used: YES When Computer2 accesses Share1, SMB encryption will be used: YES When Server1 accesses a shared folder on Computer1, IPsec encryption will be used: NO The shared folder "Share1" is configured with "EncryptData : True", no matter which network the client resides,SMB 3 communication will be encrypted.When Server1 access Computer1 over network, the original packet L3 IP Header is as follow:-172.16.1.30 ?gt; 172.16.10.60These traffic does not match the enabled IPSec rule "Rule2" nor "Rule3", and the only matching rule "Rule1" isdisabled. So, no IPsec encryption will be achieved.

I think 172.16.1.30 <--> 172.16.10.60 match rule 3, is it?

For Computer 2, it says IPsec encryption, not SMB encryption, so it should be YES NO NO.

I think the answer is correct: Yes, No, No. The Connection Security Rules will show a different symbol is IPSec was enabled in the rule. Therefore IPSec is not enabled on any of the connections.

expert_ms is i right. Yes, No, Yes, as when ports are not specified connection direction doesn't matter.

Looks like Yes, No, No, to me. Last two ask about IPSec encryption - of which there is no indication of use/configuration.

If the port(s) is(are) not specified connection direction doesn't matter. Tested in lab. The IPSec was established whatever endpoint initiated a connection.
