Correct answers are C (external USB drive) and E (network location). One more official article from Microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027408 Backup and Restore in Windows 10 Applies to: Windows 10 Backup your PC with File History Use File History to back up to an external drive or network location. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Backup > Add a drive , and then choose an external drive or network location for your backups.

Correct answer is C and E - you cannot put file share on same disk BUT you can work around this by creating a shared (network folder) on same disk and using that

Makes absolutely no sense to place backups on secondary partition. C and E are the correct answers. USB Flash and Network Share.

From Official MS courses : "The File History storage location that you specify can be on a local drive, a removable drive*, or a network location." * Usb Flash drive works too ( I tested it). You have to understand that a second Partition on the system Drive is not a "DRIVE" but a partition : File history cant bacakup on same disk. Finally answers are : C and E

D+E. After excluding Onedrive (A+B), C is not working because flash drives are not supported as a backup target for FH. D. a secondary partition on whatever internal drive is ok. It says system drive NOT system partition (which would not be ok). System drive stands for the hard disk. system partition stands for a partition/volume. E: A mapped partition is very OK as a backup target.

This is wrong. 1. You CAN select a USB Drive. 2. You CAN NOT select a partition drive. Answer D clearly states "secondary partition" https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/file-history-in-windows-5de0e203-ebae-05ab-db85-d5aa0a199255

Backup your PC with File History Use File History to back up to an external drive or network location. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Backup > Add a drive , and then choose an external drive or network location for your backups. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/backup-and-restore-in-windows-10-352091d2-bb9d-3ea3-ed18-52ef2b88cbef Answer: C and E

Should be C and E. File History will not let you use the System Drive to store your backups. I tested this myself and it won't detect the partition I created from my system drive. It only lets me choose an external drive or a network drive.

C, D Even if a network share can be used for backup with File History, here it's a no-sense cause this is the main drive which is mapped to a network share. There is no reason to backup data of a drive on the same drive

Network Share can be a location for backups so C E is correct IMHO.
