D. Create a virtual entity. My Reasoning: Virtual entities are used to integrate data from external data sources into Dynamics. Notably, virtual entities can be used in Dashboards and fetch-XML based reports. They are also read-only, which is listed as a business requirement in the case study. The key here is, data needs to be read-only and is in the external application. So , it's D-virtual entity

Answer would be D: Virtual entity Refer to this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/customize/create-edit-virtual-entities Virtual entity benefits Developers can implement plugins to read external data using the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Web Services and Customer Engagement Plug-in Registration tool. System customizers use Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) to configure the data source record and create virtual entities that are used to access external data without writing any code. End users work with the records created by the virtual entity to view the data in fields, grids, search results, and Fetch XML-based reports and dashboards.

I don't think it can be Virtual entity, because "The database consists of Name, Arrival Date, Departure Date, and Cost per Night": as per documentation "Virtual entities don't support custom fields with the Currency, Image, or Customer data types."

Yes, D is might be correct. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arutbzTNSS0 DYNAMICS 365 v9: Introduction to Virtual Entities - Virtual entities allow Microsoft Dynamics 365 users to utilize record information from external data sources and view the information in fields, search results, and even Fetch XML-based reports within Dynamic 365.

Yea. but with Virtual entity you may be able to do much more than just view and as per case study info.. it says 'Information from an external travel agent database is used to see potential reservations. The database consists of Name, Arrival Date, Departure Date, and Cost per Night. 'The information must be read only' I guess C is right
