For the Terretory field - it should be added to the visual level filter. If it is added to the Value field, the amount will be replaced by a count of territories.

In the filters pane (left from the visualizations pane) you have Filters. You will find three different level of filters (visual, report, page)

Correct Answers: 1) a DAX Formula (be careful: the "Calculated Measure" concept does not exist. A measure you create using DAX is simple "Measure") 2) I would choose "the Visual level filters field", assuming they are refering to "Filters on this visual" part of the "Filters Pane". Besides, neither the Tooltips nor the values field will do the work.

1. we dont see many "measure" for target/budget in the FIELDS list, so we need to manually set up in "Format setting" for Min/Max/Target. 2. add the "Territory" to "Visual Level filters field" (drag and drop, and then select the "Canada" (basic filtering) on the left hand side of "all the visual icon. All tested.

I agree to CDL: 1. Format settings Because there is no entry in the "Target value" it indicates that Target value was set up manually in the Report Section/Visualizations Pane/Format/Gauge axis/Target=90000000. to make sure to get Min=100.00 & Max=200M you enter them manually as well in Report Section/Visualizations Pane/Format/Gauge axis/ Min&Max 2. Visual level filters filed Drag Territory in the Report Section to Filters Pane and select Canada

Can't be values field because a gauge visual can only have a single value so the territory would have to be added to the visual level filter (also visual level filter would allow selection of Canda). Given the screen shot, the manual entry of the target value using formatting is the only possibility.

In the visualization pane click on the format button for the Gauge visual and in the gauge axis you can manually input values for the min, max , and target values.

To show a goal (line) on a gauge you need a MEASURE and place it in 'Target Value' in Fields Setting. In Format Setting you only hide or unhide the value label.

Yes but in the picture the Target-Value-Field is empty, so the goal must be set in the settings
