Incorrect - second answer is E. All we need to know from the prompt is that a company uses Dynamics 365 SCM. Dataverse serves as the underlying data platform for Dynamics 365 applications.

D is incorrect. Power Automate can also perform this task easily using Dataverse as a source. C and E is the answer

Selected Answer: CD
C. Business Events D. Power Automate You can use Business Events to trigger an event in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management when a new sales order is created. Then you can use Power Automate to catch this event and create a new task in Outlook. The task can be assigned to the user who manages the customer, and can include any necessary information or follow-up activities.

D and E are correct. Scope of PL-900 doesn't include D365 functionality

D365 Fin & Ops connector exists in flow and it has "When a Business Event Occurs". And this thing has been re-licensed as Finance and Supply Chain which is what the question has as the data source. So, as confusing as it is, I guess in this base "business event" is correct and CDS connector comes in second

Why is the answer C instead of E? wouldn't a business event trigger be inclusive of the Microsoft Flow answer (D)? I thought a CDS is required to enable data flow

I definitely see your point because the business event is a specific flow trigger, which make the answers a bit ambigious. The correct answers are still C and D, though. It isn't required to connect to a Common Data Service to run a flow. In fact you can connect to +300 different connectors or even create your own custom connector. As far as I know, the only feature of the Power Platform that requires the CDS is the AI Builder.

I agree. Addition to the last statement, Model-Driven app also required CDS
