A is the correct answer The question does not state that we need any of the other functionalities offered by the other subscription. And these functionalities add to the price. But since Exchange Online Protection (EOP) is offered by the E5 licenses, we are required to purchase licenses for each e-mail recipient type. And since we've modified the incoming mailflow to the Cloud, we need to license the OnPrem e-mail recipient types as well.
